GALVA — Marion dealt Canton-Galva’s baseball team a pair of setbacks on Friday.

The Warriors had the bats going in Game 1, pounding out a 16-6 victory. Nick Bray and Connor Farnham collected two hits apiece, one of Bray’s being a double. Tanner Klingensmith drove in two runs. Klingensmith was the starting pitcher, with Bray coming on in relief.

The Warriors completed the sweep with a 12-11 success, fending off a wild, last-inning rally by C-G as it scored eight runs and had the tying and winning runs on base.

Farnham had a big game in defeat with a triple and two singles, good for two RBIs. Klingensmith, Ethan Loyd and Hunter Pearson all added two hits as C-G had 11 for the game. Reed Wiens contributed two RBIs.

Farnham took the loss, with Caleb Sovde and Wiens also pitching.
