GALVA — Canton-Galva’s baseball team wrapped up regular-season play on Tuesday by dropping a pair of games to Southeast of Saline.

The Eagles were rather gracious hosts in the first game as a passel of unearned runs led to a 10-2 Knights victory.

Tanner Klingensmith and Reed Wiens pitched for the Eagles and nine of the 10 runs they allowed were unearned. Wiens and Hunter Pearson collected two hits apiece on the offensive end.

The second game was a dandy as the teams played to a 4-4 tie through seven innings before Southeast won the game with a run in the eighth, 5-4.

Connor Farnham pitched seven strong innings for C-G, including six strikeouts. Nick Bray took the loss in relief.

Bray had two hits.

The Eagles honored seniors Farnham, Bray and Klingensmith between games and coach Kelly Nelson said all will be missed as they have been four-year starters and the backbone of the program.

C-G awaits its regional seeding, scheduled for later today. It will play in the Moundridge 2-1A event.
