MHS ranked No. 6 in final baseball poll

McPherson High is ranked No. 6 in Class 4A Division I in the final regular-season Kansas Baseball Coaches Association poll.

The Bullpups, 13-7, compete Tuesday in regional play at Hays.

Topeka Hayden ends the regular season No. 1, followed by Fort Scott, Paola, Labette County, Ottawa, MHS, Rose Hill, Buhler, DeSoto and Wamego.

Buhler is in MHS’ regional at Hays.

Little River is No. 4 in the final 2-1A rankings. The Redskins, the top seed in the Moundridge regional next week, trail Troy, Pittsburg Colgan and Mission Valley.

Udall is No. 5, with Maranatha Academy, Ellis, Flinthills, Moscow and Ell-Saline rounding out the order.
