PRATT — Today’s Class 4A State Tennis Tournament has been postponed because of weather conditions.

The tournament will resume at 8 a.m. Sunday.

It appears to be a two-team race at this point between No. 1-ranked Independence and No. 2-ranked McPherson High. The Bullpups have qualified both of their doubles teams for the semifinal, Gallagher Martin-Nolan Schrader and Kento Aizawa-Luke Williams. Andrew Snell is playing for third in singles, while Kaden Stewart can finish anywhere from 9th to 12th in the consolation round.

Independence has a doubles team in the Final 4 and the potential for third in singles, not to mention fifths in singles and doubles.
