Goodson to swim at NCAA D-I level

Derick Goodson, arguably the most accomplished swimmer in McPherson High history, is transferring so he can swim at the NCAA Division I level.

Goodson spent two years at Adams State in Colorado, an NCAA Division II School, where had a sensational career. He will now continue his career the the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

He broke the Adams State record in the 100 freestyle (46.6) 50 freestyle (20.6) and was part of three relay teams that broke school records.

Goodson qualified for eight events during his senior season of high school and was among the best swimmers in the state.
