McPherson Police officers arrested a juvenile male suspect Monday evening in connection with at least 26 cases of damage to property or injury to McPherson residences.

Officer Marla Hawkinson says the cases span the last 20 days and are spread throughout the city.

"On Saturday, an 82 year old male resident of McPherson reported being shot with a BB while mowing," Hawkinson said. "The BB was removed at the hospital. Yesterday, a 75 year old male, also of McPherson, reported the same circumstance. His injury did not require medical attention."

Hawkinson said the current damage estimates are in excess of ten thousand dollars.

A police investigation into the incidents identified four McPherson juvenile males, who were interviewed Monday.

Charges pending include criminal damage to property and aggravated battery. The report will be forwarded to the county attorney for review pending further charges.

The names and ages of the juveniles are being withheld.

Current estimates for damages are in excess of $10,000.
