LINDSBORG — Coby Biddle can flat-out shoot.
The latest Bethany College basketball signee shot an astounding 48 percent from 3-point range and 90 percent at the foul line for Franklin High School in El Paso, Texas.
He averaged nearly 11 points per game, five rebounds and two assists.
Off the court, Biddle volunteers as a youth basketball coach and is a youth advisor at the El Paso Recreation Department.
"We are pleased that Coby is continuing his education and basketball career at Bethany College. He is a fine young man who is an excellent student," Bethany coach Clair Oleen said. "As a basketball player, Coby is an excellent shooter, as evidenced by his 3-point and free throw shooting percentages. We look forward to working with Coby as he further develops other aspects of his game."
He is the son of Kim Biddle, and Tim Biddle and Amy Thompson. He has a 3.9 grade point average and will double major in Business Management and Sports Management.
