MHS, area athletes up for Catchys

The voting for the annual “Catchy Awards” is now under way by the CatchItKansas website.

McPherson High’s state championship tennis doubles team of Gallagher Martin and Nolan Schrader are up for the top Kansas tennis player/duo of the year, while the McPherson High boys basketball team is up for Class 4A Team of the Year.

Smoky Valley’s undefeated Austin Cook is among those up for the top wrestler. He’s a two-time state champion.

Hesston’s Caylee Richardson is up for best volleyball player. The Swathers’ girls basketball team is up for 3A Team of the Year.
