More details are available on the sudden resignation of USD 418 Associate Superintendent Chris Ruder.
According to District attorney Brian Bina, the resignation related to the misuse of funds. The board of education accepted Ruder's resignation during a special session Monday evening with the stipulation that Ruder pay the district restitution. Bina said that restitution is "open-ended at this point."
The matter has also been turned over to the McPherson Police Department for further investigation.
McPherson school board president Brad Berg said that the resignation was accepted on a unanimous vote.
