LINDSBORG — The late influx of players continues for the Bethany College men’s soccer team.

Swede coach Shane Taylor tapped South America for his latest signee, Andre Girao Colofatti Barbosa of Londrina, Brazil. It’s Taylor’s third announced signing this week as he continues to pad the Bethany roster.

Barbosa transfers to Bethany from Clark College. Prior to his time there he attended Colegio Londrinense in Brazil.

"The men's soccer program is extremely happy to have Andre joining our team and college," Taylor said. "He is a bright, young defender with an impressive soccer background. We are looking forward to his contributions and growth within our program."

He is the son of Roberto Colofatti Barbosa and Jacqueline Cavalcante Girao. He has a 3.05 grade point average and plans to major in international management.
