WICHITA — Turkey Creek’s Junior Golf team continued its domination of the Ping Interclub Series on Tuesday by winning its fourth tournament in as many attempts at Crestview Country Club.
McPherson’s Dylan Teeter, who is giving away several years to many of the competitors as he’s only going to be in the seventh grade, continues to be the rage as he won medalist honors with a 76, two shots better than teammate Jacob Lackey, Hesston’s Jack Barnhart and Wichita Crestview’s Patrick Chan.
Other McPherson scores were CJ Steiner (84), Casey Cheek (85) and Colton Geren (108).
Under the system used, McPherson was first, Crestview was second, Hesston was third, Crestview No. 2 was fourth and Fox Ridge was fifth.
Other Hesston scores were Tanner Pauls (81), Grant Brenneman (92) and Kit Kingsley (113).
The fifth and final tournament is scheduled for July 26 at Turkey Creek.
