A Wisconsin woman was injured following an accident on Interstate Highway 135 in McPherson County Monday evening.
According to Kansas Highway Patrol crash logs, a KHP trooper was southbound on I-135 a mile-and-a-half south of the Kansas Highway K-61 junction and noticed a 2007 Honda PC driven by Siarra Gracia, 22,Almena, Wisconsin,approaching at a high rate of speed.
The trooper then pulled over to the shoulder, at which time Gracia slowed to a stop and was struck by a 2013 Honda Accord driven by Darrian Siever, 20, of Derby.
Gracia was transported to McPherson Hospital with a possible injury. Siever was uninjured.
The accident happened just before 9 p.m.
