Inman schools are looking at around $4,000 less in 2015-2016, according to the budget the USD 448 board of education approved for publication Monday.
The budget calls for a general fund of $2,709,373, a $4,173 drop from 2014-2015. Additionally, the Local Option Budget will drop over $5,400 to id="mce_marker",196,840.
The board also approved a hike in the mill levy from 57.744 to 58.476 mills in 2015-2016.
The board will hold a public hearing on the proposed budget Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. in the USD 448 Central Offices.
