LINDSBORG — Bethany College women’s basketball coach Brett Morehouse continues to make quite a haul late in the recruiting season.
This week Morehouse announced the signing of Jaquelyn Bradshaw to a letter of intent. She’ll also play tennis for the Swedes.
Bradshaw is traveling halfway across the country to attend Bethany, as she graduated from Sharon High School in Pennsylvania.
She was a three-sport athlete, lettering in basketball, softball and tennis. She was a captain on the tennis team, and played both singles and doubles.
"We are excited to add such a high quality student-athlete like Jackie Bradshaw to our program,” Morehouse said. “At 5-9, she brings good size to the guard position. Jackie is one of several players in our program who will be competing in multiple sports at Bethany. I think that says a lot about her versatility as an athlete and her desire to compete at the highest level. Along with (Bethany tennis) coach (Tony) Swiantek and the Swede tennis team, we look forward to helping Jackie make the most of her experience here at Bethany College."
She is the daughter of Brian and Tracy Bradshaw. She has a 3.94 grade point average and will study Pre-Med while at Bethany College.
