LINDSBORG — Bethany College’s men’s soccer team has added a new goalie for next season.

The Swedes have announced the signing of Miguel Guzman to a letter of intent.

A native of Santa Fe Springs, Calif., Guzman was a three-year starter at Santa Fe High School. He had a 10-game shutout streak his sophomore season and he compiled seven more his senior year.

"We are excited to have Miguel sign with our soccer program and attend Bethany. He has a proven record and a quality goalkeeping background," Bethany coach Shane Taylor said. "We are looking forward to what Miguel will bring to our program in the years to come."

Miguel is the son of Aurora Sanchez and Miguel Guzman. He will study business while studying at Bethany College.
