LITTLE RIVER — Lincoln’s baseball team flexed some offensive muscle in sweeping Little River on Thursday.
The Leopards scored eight runs in the fourth inning of Game 1, then 10 in the fifth to spearhead a 24-13 victory in an offensive slugfest.
The Redskins had 10 hits in defeat. Peyton Harvey, Brady Stephenson, Levon Swenson and Bryce Sears all had two. Harvey drove in four runs, while Stephenson, Swenson and Jace Garrison had two RBIs each.
The second game was a dandy as Lincoln scored two runs in the top of the seventh to break a 6-6 tie and capture an 8-6 decision.
The Redskins, down 6-0 at one point, tallied six runs in the sixth. Taylor Urton led Little River with two RBIs.
