Baseball Bulldogs stay hot, now 10-2

GOODWELL, Okla. — McPherson College’s baseball team is now 10-2 after completing a wrap-around-weekend sweep of Panhandle State on Monday.

The Bulldogs, who had won two games on Sunday, were played much tougher by the Aggies in Monday’s two games, but nevertheless emerged victorious.

• Mac 9, Panhandle State 5 — Mac came out swinging, scoring all its runs in the first three innings. Dylan Fontenot was 2 for 4 with three RBIs to lead the way and Trevor Johnson added two hits and two RBIs.

• Mac 8, Panhandle State 7— The Bulldogs overcame a 4-0 deficit and the big comeback inning was the fifth when they scored five times. Brevin Baessler was 3 for 5, while Fontenot, Dominick Ramos and Reily Martin all had two hits, with Martin driving in two runs.

Mac hosts Kansas Wesleyan for three games this weekend, two on Saturday and another on Sunday.
