3 Bulldogs named Academic All-Americans

Three McPherson College tennis players have earned Google Cloud Academic All-American honors.

For the men, Hector Carrillo Perales and Juan Jimenez were selected. Carrillo Perales made the first team, Jimenez the second team.

Carrillo Pareles had a 3.97 GPA, while Jimenez had a 4.0. 

Carrillo Perales was 15-7 in singles and 21-6 in doubles, including a 20-5 record with Ahmed Lahlou to finish with a No. 5 national ranking.

Jimenez was 17-11 in singles and 6-3 in doubles as the Bulldogs were again conference champions.

For the women, Zoe Bouwmeester was named to the first team. She had a 3.96 GPA, and on the court was 17-5 in singles and11-1 in doubles with teammate Deiah Curtis.
