McPherson College’s men’s soccer team, which has been the school’s most consistently winning program over the past 10 years, has been picked to finish second in the KCAC this season, as poll numbers were released today.

The Bulldogs, who appeared in the 2017 KCAC Championship game, trailed only mighty Oklahoma Wesleyan, which made the NAIA Final Four last year. The Eagles received 12 of the 13 first-place votes. Friends received the other.

Mac coach Doug Quint has carved out an incredible legacy. In the last five years alone, the Bulldogs are 39-9-3 in the KCAC and in the last 10 years they are 71-21-4.

Mac returns two All-KCAC performers in first-team selection Chris Kelly and second-team pick Aaron McCready. The Bulldogs tied a school record for goals with 61.
