Aaron McCready was McPherson College’s representative today on the All-KCAC men’s soccer first team as postseason honors were announced.

McCready is a defender. A surprising omission was Chris Kelly, the Bulldogs’ top scorer and assist leader. He has been one of the KCAC’s top players the last couple of years.

Kelly did make the second team as a forward.

The Bulldogs populated the honorable mention list with forwards Sadam Ali and David Mwinger, midfielder Hernan Maldonado, and defenders, Navid Istanbullu and Dennis Schorb.

Bethany’s lone mention was midfielder Jack Rhys-Jones, who was an honorable mention selection.

Stefan Lukic of Oklahoma Wesleyan University was selected as Most Valuable Player, while teammate Stefan Cvetanovic was named Offensive Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year. The Eagles' Dusan Djordjev earned his second straight Goalkeeper of the Year award.

Kansas Wesleyan’s Diego Cocon was selected as Coach of the Year.

Kansas Wesleyan's Jorge Mejia earned Defensive Player of the Year, while teammate Yader Rodriguez was named Newcomer of the Year.
