MAC wrestlers compete in several events

It was a busy weekend for the MAC Wrestling Club, which competed all over the state.

• At Newton •

1st — Colt Harlin, 10-and-under, 90

2nd — Reid Weber, 6-and-under, 43 novice; Jake Evans, 8-and-under, 55

3rd — Damieon Doss, 6-and-under, 49; Parker Hulvey, 8-and-under, 58; Noah Garcia, 8-and-under, 64; Brayden Senecal, 10-and-under, 90; Eli Farley, 12-and-under, 130; Gavin Richardson, 14-and-under, 125; Caden Burris, 14-and-under, 145

4th — Colton Johnson, 10-and-under, 95; Luke Farley, 8-and-under, 55; Jase Fitzmorris, 12-and-under, 115

Also competing were Jaxon Carlson, Achilles Palacios, Landon Pelzel, Brock Richardson and Hayden Farley.

• At Manhattan •

2nd — Jaxon Chrislip, 10-and-under, 73; Julian Glover, 12-and-under, 84

3rd — Landon Thompson, 12-and-under, 135

• At Ellsworth •

1st — Dalton VanEaton, 6-and-under, 58; Brady Rinker, 10-and-under, 67; Bryson VanEaton, 10-and-under, 82

5th — Carter Rinker, 8-and-under, 58

• At Marysville •

4th — Gavin Montagne, 8-and-under, 58.

The MAC Wrestling Club will host its annual event on Saturday at Canton-Galva High School. Contact Lance or Lennie Engel at 620-755-5738 if you would like to help. The action begins at 8:30.

On. Feb. 24, the team will host the War of the Roses Girls Tournament at Central Christian College at 10 a.m. Admission is free.
