Bulldog netters dominate Sterling

McPherson College’s tennis teams did not lose an on-court match on Friday to easily defeat Sterling College.

The Mac men were a 9-0 winner, while the Bulldog women were successful 7-2, with both Sterling points coming on forfeits.

Winning doubles teams for Mac’s men were Jacob Turley-Julien Bodin, Nicolas Wahl-Rick Sakamoto and Juan Jimenez-Jakob Komel.

Turley, Jimenez, Sakamoto, Komel, James Lee and Kentaro Oya were singles winners.

For the Mac women, doubles winners were Brittany Zipf-Erica Paradise and Besa Bwalya-Zoe Bouwmeester. Those four players also were singles winners, along with Sydney Hicks.

Both Mac teams are now 5-1 in the KCAC and host Kansas Wesleyan on Sunday.
